1. After the film is applied, the moisture remains and has not been evaporated

As we all know, the invisible auto paint protection film is constructed by wet paste, so there will inevitably be moisture residue. The water mist generated between the paint surface and the film by the unevaporated water will make the auto paint protection film visually foggy.

Solution:

For the fogging caused by residual moisture after the film is applied, you only need to wait for the water vapor to dry completely. This process takes about 7 to 10 days after the film is applied. If there is a lot of residual moisture during construction, it will take longer for the auto paint protection film to dry completely.

2. Caused by improper roll film

Like the TPU invisible auto paint protection film with high anti-fouling properties, the coating hardness will be relatively high. If the shop master cuts the film and rolls the coated surface on the inside when rolling the film, causing the coated surface to fold, the auto paint protection film will be damaged Fogging occurs.

Solution:

In view of the fogging caused by improper rolling of the film, the technician must first roll the coated surface on the outside when rolling the film, and cannot roll it back. If it has been rewound and caused fogging, but it is discovered in time, it can be restored by heating with a baking gun and hot water. (Note: If the treatment is not found in time, the coating cannot be recovered after the overall curing.)

3. Caused by improper construction

When constructing some places with large arcs, if the technician stretches too much, the force on the auto paint protection film will be uneven, and the local coating will be damaged, which will also cause the auto paint protection film to fog.

Solution:

For the fogging caused by overstretching, the treatment is the same as above, and it can be recovered through thermal repair if it is found in time. Technicians should pay attention: during construction, when encountering parts with large radians, such as bumpers and corners of reflectors, etc., do not over-stretch to damage the coating, and keep the film surface and the paint surface fully lubricated, so that the film will The surface will be evenly stressed to prevent fogging or loss of gloss on the film surface caused by local excessive stretching.
